Catch up

Firstly a message for Pattie, I posted your parcel off on Thursday so hopefully it wont take too long to get to Mexico. This little girl is guarding it for you and she is ready to 'stare down' anyone who tries to interfere with your parcel!! The boys had a student free day on Friday (ie teachers had a training day) and husband had to give a talk in Adelaide, so we all headed over there on Thursday, after school. The time went too quickly before we coming back home again on Saturday night.
Every time we say that the next time over there will be more relaxing. Funny thing is that we live by the sea and we head to the city for holidays or weekends - usually it is the reverse. N offered his Dad an Oreo biscuit this afternoon. What a 'cherub' - he had scraped out all the cream inside and filled it with toothpaste! LOL

A woman who goes to our church had bunches of roses, all cut and tied with ribbon, for anyone who wanted to take some home. She is having a BIG birthday party in a few weeks time so she had cut all her roses, so that she will have a new flush of roses in time for her party. Aren't we the lucky ones? There were all colours there and they looked lovely altogether but even more lovely is my bunch that I brought home!
