Warning, warning...........scary photo coming to a computer screen near you

Sorry about that but I did try to warn you. Monday was husband's birthday and we went to Kirsty's place for tea. This was a lovely group photo except for me - my eyes were closed so I decided to do some photo editing and I got a bit carried away. Don't our men look gorgeous?? That's mine over my shoulder with the crown and sceptre - he rules the house too, you know! I love Kirsty's husband's beard and moustache and Kirsty has her magic wand......

This was the scrumptious cake that Marion made for husband - you can see how wonderful our birthday singing was as cherub is sitting on my lap with his fingers in his ears!

We had such a lovely evening, that we didn't realise how late it was.
As the holidays are drawing to a close, we seem to be having more and more children over to play and so we aren't getting to do our artwork at present, but have a look at what Kirsty's children have been working on during the holidays. We saw it in 'real life' on Monday night and it looks terrific.
I discovered these free downloads today for bookcovers. My boys are still into character bookcovers for their school books but maybe if you have older children (girls) or even for a journal or similar for yourself these look great.
PS: I am going to have a few days off - so will catch up with you next week when the cherubs have gone back to school - and by that time I will also be another year older - watch out for the wisdom I will impart then.......!!!!!
