My Heart

Millie from The Laurel Hedge has tagged me to play along with "My Heart", her post was wonderful and while I had a similar theme that I could have followed I thought I would aim my post at a message to 'my heart'.

My heart is full when these three are able to spend time together, exploring,
asking and answering questions and most importantly, laughing together.

Our boys are growing up very quickly and I have just gone through their bookshelf sorting out books that they have outgrown and putting their 'important books' in a more prominent position.

So boys, you read at an early age that you can achieve anything that you set your mind to......

You can be anything you want

You can go anywhere you like

A job in the computer industry is a reliable one.

I would prefer that your name wasn't entered in this book but if you are able to make a living from it and you are happy, then that will be OK with me!

You've received training on how to be a man - where they misplace anything and everything!

Remember that in life, you will come across people that are........

Just smile, say thankyou and wish them a happy life.

One of you is fascinated with all things French and Egyptian and longs to be an archaeologist, whilst the other is undecided at the moment. Don't worry, you have quite a few years before you need to decide what path to follow.

Whatever you do, when I am old and more wrinkly and don't remember things very well - I might even be in a nursing home - I hope that you will still come to see me sometime and that you won't be embarrassed to be related to me.

I should probably never have given you this book to read

My heart's wish is that your life will be

that we all wish for

and why do I long for all these things for you.....................

So that is my heart - what is yours?

Yep, teary eyes from me too Christina! A truly beautiful My Heart, especially that first photo. I often think about the Nursing Home visits too & that great car bumper sticker 'Avenge yourself - live long enough to be a problem to your children!' Thank you so much for contributing, your boys have a really wonderful Mum.
