The Reunion

The Class Reunion is all over and done with....but we had a great time. Lots of talking, reminiscing and pulling out memories from the dark crevices of our brains.

We had the trophies that I had mentioned previously and the 5 categories were: Best Preserved Student, Best Preserved Teacher, The Michael Jackson Award (most changed), Hair Do or Hair Gone Award and Most Tattoos or Body Piercings!

Our Art Teacher won the Best Preserved Teacher - here we both are with lovely button necklaces - doesn't she have great taste!! And she is 68....... so definitely well preserved.

It didn't occur to me that I would be in the running for the Hair Do or Hair Gone award, just because I no longer had my very long plaits...but I was runner up. The winner was someone whose hair had receded quite dramatically.

I was really surprised that no-one from my class had a tattoo - I was sure there would be someone.

The rest of this week is being spent with my cherubs, hopefully doing some fun stuff while the holidays are still on.
