Birthdays

I had mentioned that I celebrated my birthday in January, but so did "the husband" - our birthdays are 5 days apart and he turned 50 this year, so it was definitely 'his year'!
We had a family morning tea on his birthday and then the following night we went to the best restaurant in town for a scrumptious seafood dinner. The restaurant???  It was Marion's house - just around the corner from ours - and she had prepared the BEST meal possible for us.  Husband is still raving about it!  It was a complete surprise for him, he knew we were going out somewhere for dinner but had no idea where and in his opinion, it was the best dinner he has ever had!  Now that doesn't put much pressure on me, does it....lol??

What better way to spend a birthday - spending it with great friends - especially when said friend is an excellent cook! Sounds like you had a lovely time! Happy 50th to the hubby!

Now you realise that B'Days should be celebrated a month before and a month after, prehaps even longer when it's sooooooo special!
