The story about the felted wool

A few weeks ago I needed some felted wool for a project - the pattern I was following had some nice patterned wool whereas mine were solid colours and a bit boring. I remembered that husband had a jumper/sweater that had mysteriously shrunk while in his cupboard (you know THAT story)so I went on a search for it. It would be perfect for what I wanted it for however it was nowhere to be seen so I decided I must have already given it away to a charity group op shop. A couple of days later I went to an op shop looking for something woolly to felt and guess what - there was my husband's jumper - so I bought it back for $4! Yes it came back home.
I felted these other bits too although the ladies jacket almost disintegrated in my washing machine. (the photo is before the felting took place)

Had a giggle at this story, how often do give things away only to discover that you need them. And yes I know how clothes shrink in the cupboard, they don't like the dark! They also dont like being stuffed in a suitcase and taken on holidays ~ will definatly shrink!
What did you make?

Haaaa HAAA HAAA (snort) how absolutely funny. But isn't that always the case?? Though I can see why you wanted that jumper to felt. I bet the pattern was really cool when it shrunk down to elfen size!!
