Support your local artists!

This afternoon we have been doing some artwork. Neither of the boys think that they are very good at painting or drawing, so I have been wanting them to try other techniques to prove that you don't have to be able to paint or draw. My sister-in-law had given one of the boys an Art Technique book for Christmas so today we made paper tissue pictures. I think they turned out quite well and the boys were surprised with how easy they were.

Only 12 Kirsty? It is the 7th January after all.lol
Great work Christina and boys, they are fabulous. Have you tried the ABC taped songs for learning tables? I have had great success in my class where the kids pop them on before they go to sleep or driving along in the car and learn the chants.

Thank you so much little Sister for stopping by and holding my hand. Boy I don't know how I got so lucky to have found such a wonderful supportive group of Bloglandian Sisters, but I'm sure not going to question it ;)

Oh and LW says thanks for the tide tutorial!!
