Lightbulb moment.....

or in this case a chandelier moment.....

(This was the other gorgeous chandelier at the farmhouse, where we spent the long weekend in June)
Yesterday, I spent too many hours thinking and planning something that I need to make in the next few weeks. So much so, that I couldn't concentrate on what I really wanted to be doing - etching metal.

Today when I woke up, it was almost like that proverbial lightbulb moment - I knew exactly how, and what I was going to do - and it should look good. I'll show you what I am talking about when I actually sit down and start on it!

Then when I turned on the computer, I was pleased to see Rebecca Sower's quote for today:
Don't let yesterday use up too much of today."

OOh how eerie that her quote was so pertinent to what you've posted about! Strange how often that can occur.

Amazing what a night's sleep can do for the creative process - can't wait to see what you've got planned!

Never thought of the Gepps Cross Market as a great place to fossick. Wonder if I could talk someone into a visit what great finds great to be in the right place at the right time.

Don't you just love those "AAAh Haaa" moments. Well until you remind yourself how much time you spent spinning your creative wheels. Gives all new meaning to "I'll sleep on it" !! :)
