Non Fattening Easter Goodies....or googies

The latest Homespun magazine is available now and has our project for Needlefelted eggs in it. And an article about Marion and me - our photo looks like we have had a spray tan!

The eggs are a larger version of these ones, that some of you might have seen previously.My achievement this week has been to tidy husband's office.

Everytime I tidy, I threaten that it will be the last time 9 bags of rubbish were removed and the big reveal was

that there was actually a desk under the piles!!

Easter Bunny was spotted........

Yes 6 years ago, the Easter Bunny was spotted in our back yard!

But whilst the rabbits, chickens and chocolate are all wonderful, remember there is more to this Easter time.

I'm going to have a few days off from blogging - we are looking forward to some get togethers during the next few days with friends and family - and of course spending some time with the boys. School holidays start today as well, so we have some craft activities planned & trips to Adelaide for movies etc. so that will be fun!

Well what would you do?

........when a friend turns up on your doorstep with a basket of warm freshly baked hot cross buns and needs you to taste them to see if they are 'passable'! As if anything that Marion makes wouldn't pass the taste test! Unfortunately for Marion, she isn't able to eat anything sweet without feeling ill so she relies on us and her family to be her tasters. I can just imagine the day that I step foot into a Weight Watchers meeting and they ask why do you need to lose weight and I can honestly say "It is all Marion's fault"! I have to report that they were delicious and you can't really judge by the photo but they were really big ones - about 4 inches high. My sister-in-law was pretty happy that she was here visiting at the time and of course my husband - you could just about see him drooling.

I've just finished this box and bunny - it's a long time since I used pink in anything.....

Pretty Eggs

Whilst we are both busy working on Easter items at present, I thought I would look back on some of our past projects.
Marion made these needlefelted eggs last year - aren't they lovely? A basketful of these would look great as a centrepiece for Easter - or anytime!
