Create and Inspire

I love those words - Create and Inspire -
they sound calming and full of never ending possibilities.
One of the poles at the front of the National Gallery of Australia,
in Canberra will be 'wearing' this soon,
so I hope it enjoys the word Create as much as I do! I have had a lot of fun knitting this rather large piece and if you would like
to contribute to the project you can find more information on grrl+dog.
She is even offering a nice reward!

My youngest cherub thinks he might make something too -
maybe a type of embellishment that could be used to decorate some of the knits.
He's pretty impressed to think that Mum is doing some knitting for "The Guerilla Knitter" and he's been telling some of the kids at school about it,
but he delights in the fact that he knows the difference between gorilla and guerilla!
Yesterday, husband and I drove up to the Clare Valley where husband had a bit of work to do in the morning and then we went here for our lunch
- Skillogallee Winery. Photo from Skillogallee Winery website
Sorry you couldn't have been there too - maybe next time.

Online Exhibition

Just about to head off to bed, but I have just received an email to say that the Online Mixed Nuts Exhibition has just been opened. This was a project that both Marion and I were involved in, a few months ago with artists from around the world. We were all given the same shape to work with (a peanut shape) and then we set to work to create something! I've given you a sneak preview of our work but you need to go and have a look at the exhibition yourself to understand it fully. You won't believe what some artists came up with! Make a cuppa first, there is a lot to see and to buy if you like.......
