With the beginning of the new school year, just around the corner, it was time to get the boys some new stationery - and that means that Mum can get some too!
Some wooden rulers (much better than plastic), a set of watercolour paints, some of those pens that we had years and years ago, with all the different ink colours - and the best is this set of Staedtler fineliner pens.
Not only are the pens great for writing and drawing etc but the case they are in has been created like a "Jacob's ladder" - where you keep folding the lid back onto itself - so much fun.
If I can only stop playing with the case, I might get some work done..............

OMG Christina,
What a flash back, with the multi tip pens. I can remember when I was a squeeky fresh nurse how excited we were when who ever created those put them on the market. In the dark ages before copy machines and computers we use to chart each shift in a different color. Black, red, blue. so what we did was tape 3 different color pens together so all three colors were right there. There were some really old time clerks and nurses that could hold all 3 pens loose in their hand and then switch colors by manipulating their fingers. :) Ohhhhhh but these pens look like they have far more fun colors then the old ones. I bet I could even find them here???
Try to stay cool, while the northern hem. is trying to stay warm.

Thanks for the comment on international posting, yeah... that's a bit mean, since most of our blog mates may be overseas.

Love this time of year for stationery supplies. Hows the cool change it was thumping down with rain here this morning and we went to the pictures today and everyone was lined up to get a park under cover because of the rain instead of the sun for a change.
Ooooo - STATIONARY - gotta love it! Officeworks makes me shiver!
It was such a treat to pull the doona up last night. I do love Summer, but I was getting a little tired of those 43C. days. I love all your stationary treats Christina, although your kids are probably quivering at those 3 words - Back To School!
